BIO

Based in Los Angeles, Justin Drisdelle is a versatile trumpet player, educator, and arranger/composer. 

 

Justin frequently performs across a variety of musical settings from Orchestral, Jazz, and Musical Theatre, to Latin, Rock, and Pop. He has worked with ensembles including the Santa Barbara Symphony, New West Symphony, Modesto Symphony, the Marina Del Rey Symphony, Chamber Orchestra of the South Bay, Buddy Rich Big Band, Brent Fischer Big Band, Ron King Big Band, as well as with artists such as La India, Tony Vega, Farzad Farzin, Frankie Vasquez, Brunella Torpoco, Adalberto Santiago, and Henry Fiol, among others. ​​

As an educator, Justin maintains a private teaching studio in the Los Angeles area. He is also a visiting artist at local schools and after-school music programs where he teaches beginner to advanced trumpet classes. 

Originally from Hartford, CT, Justin holds degrees in Trumpet Performance and Economics from the University of Maryland, where he studied with Chris Gekker. After moving to LA, Justin continued to study with Adam Luftman, Principal Trumpet of the SF Opera/Ballet, and Jon Lewis, LA based studio trumpet player (recorded on over 1,000+ movie/TV soundtracks).
